How It All Began
Ronn and Carly first met at a bar where Ronn was working as a Karaoke host. Most of you know that Carly likes to sing and she could often be found rockin' her favorite songs after work at a few different locations throughout the week. The two would later tell each other that they each noticed each other and took an interest, but neither acted on that interest.
After a few weeks of visiting Ronn's show Carly had a slightly unpleasant experience with the bar and decided to do her singing elsewhere, and the two wouldn't see each other again for some time, however they had become Facebook friends so they continued to be able to see what each other was up to, but still neither doing anything about it. Hey folks, sometimes good things take a while to see especially when they are right in front of your face.
About a year later Ronn decided to create a space in his studio allowing singers to come record a song while also being video taped. It was a way for him to make some extra money and give some of his karaoke singers a way to make some fun, inexpensive demos. He posted a message on Facebook letting people know what he was offering and Carly decided to do it.

STORY

Carly would go on to record a few more songs in a few different sessions and it was during this time that the two started to feel something more than friendship brewing. It was during one of these video sessions that the two would have their very first kiss. Ronn said "I'm going to kiss you now" to which Carly responded by nervously giggling. A giggle that to this day still melts Ronn's heart when he hears it. Once the giggling stopped however the two shared a kiss that would solidly change their relationship from friends to something more.

The two began dating and spending a lot of time together. Carly would sometimes help Ronn with his DJ jobs when she could. Little did she know that the simple act of helping Ronn with his work was one of the ways to his heart. For Carly, seeing Ronn DJ'ing and working with the kids at the school he did dances for, let her see his "light and joy" of helping others to have a great experience.
When Did Carly and Ronn Know Things Were Getting Serious?
Ronn knows exactly the time when it happened for him. After DJ'ing a school, without Carly this time, he was driving home listening to the radio. The two had dinner plans later that evening where Carly was planning to cook for him for the first time. A song came on the radio which Ronn had heard a million times before, but never "heard" until this day. He got chills and said to himself "Uh oh, I'm in trouble.

Carly would say that over time she just grew to love him for the man he is. She feels like every moment spent with Ronn feels like she's on vacation. She loves his positivity and general love of life. She feels she can truly be herself when they are together and doesn't have to guess how he feels about her because it shows in his eyes all the time. She values his support and assistance in everything she wants to do from small little project ideas and carrying through to life goals. For Carly the realization that Ronn was "the one" came to her on a photo trip the two took to northern California. She can't really find the words to explain it, she just knew.
Well, that's how it all began! Now it's off to the chapel (uh park) to get married and continue the story ...........
10 THINGS YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT .....
1. Ronn has had these jobs: Telemarketer, Lead Generator for a Technical College, Office Assitant for two different Legal Firms, Food Dude, Apartment Maintenance Man, Apartment Resident Services Manager and Activity Planner.
2. While working at the different jobs listed above, Ronn was also getting paid to be a drummer in several bands over the years. He played cover music in several groups and also played in bands that created original music. His last band was called Turning Keys. This group put out an album and opened for big name groups like Depeche Mode, Flock Of Seagulls and Missing Persons. True, it was after the prime of these bands, but still. He misses drumming to this day. He still owns a drum kit, but just never has the time to play anymore.
3. Ronn is lucky enough to be able to do what he enjoys in life and make a living at it. "Find something you love to do and never work a day in your life" he says. Currently he is a DJ, Emcee, Wedding Planner, Photographer, Photo Editor, Videographer, and Video Editor. He also makes money from time-to-time designing logos and websites and providing sound for bands and DJs.
4. Ronn finds a car he likes he tends to get multiples of it. He's owned two Toyota Celicas, two VW Busses, three Cargo Vans, and two Honda Elements. There was a Susuki Samurai in there too, but only one of those. Everything he owns has to be able to haul gear. He will never own a Mini Cooper unless he takes up the flute.
5. When you see Ronn might think he just wears the same thing everyday. It's kinda' true. He owns multiples of the exact same shirts, pants, socks, and underwear. Sure, he's not an interesting dresser, but it's rumored that Einstein did the exact same thing. Hmmmmm.
6. Ronn is an Introvert. He was surprised to find that out himself. A friend of his posted an article about it and when he read through it he realized that most everything applied to him. 7. Ronn loves food. No surprise there, right? He is far from a Vegetarian and loves eating at Brazilian BBQs where they bring all-you-can-eat scewers of different meats. Buffets are always a favorite so he can sample many different flavors. Outback is his favorite steakhouse. Any meal is better when finished off with a dessert, not the fancy foo foo kind, but something ooie gooie delicious.
8. Ronn is a Mac Guy. Period. He owns several Mac computers for each of the kinds of jobs he does. Each DJ system has a main computer and a back up and the Photography computers for location shoots are Macs as well. He uses iPhones and iPads and has finally brought Carly over to the light. However, the computer in his Photo Booth is a PC ... but only because it has to be. He would change it if he could.
9. Ronn's been told he looks mean when he doesn't smile. He just has one of those faces. Sure the bald head and gotee doesn't help either. Ronn is usually very happy and upbeat. Not many things upset him and he has a ton of patience in most situations. In his business as a DJ his look helps. He hears stories all the time from his fellow DJs who have a more wholesome and clean look. They say how they get harassed at weddings from drunk guests. For Ronn, that's rarely ever a problem. I guess he looks just mean enough to not want to bother, but nice enough to keep hiring.

RONN
CARLY
1. Carly has been known to move from job to job but always in the same field “Making others Happy.” Carly takes great joy in helping others and finding their smile. She has gone from working at a Science Adventures, Children’s group home, Working with Children with Autism, and currently providing therapy as a Marriage and Family Therapist. To help in these endeavors, she went to Fullerton Junior College for her Associates Degree, Cal State Fullerton for her Bachelors Degree In Psychology, and then getting her Psychology Masters Degree with a MA in Counseling Psychology at Argosy University. She is currently getting her state mandated hours to obtain her Marriage and Family Therapy License. She is also working with Ronn as a Photographer, Videographer and DJ. She recently did her own gigs entertaining kids at Elementary School parties, Jr High dances, and even a High School Prom.
2. When Carly was a little girl she used to pretend to be a DJ with her brother Dylan and their cousin Tracy at “Grandma Carmen’s house”. The three of them had a series of their own radio shows every time they would visit. At Christmas time they would sneak a microphone out to the living room trying to listen to their parents discussing presents (they never busted them, but it was still fun). Now Carly feels like she lived up to that childhood fantasy and really is “DJ Carly” just recently completing her own gigs at a prom and a junior high.
3. Carly has also been known to enjoy many hobbies. She likes to get really good at one hobby and once she feels she has conquered it, she moves on to the next. Carly has been an avid salsa dancer, pool player, she loves singing karaoke, and is now trying to master photography. Carly likes to be challenged and if there is something that Carly doesn’t know how to do, she will work hard until she feels she does.
4. When Carly was little she use to perform acts and make everyone watch them. Included in most these acts growing up was her cousin Mary. Mary would say Carly took on the role of the “director” and assigning others to play the roles and choreograph the dancing and singing. What most people don’t know is she continued these acts far into High school using her younger siblings as scapegoats to why she was performing them. In reality she loved every second of it.
5. Carly loves to compete. Even if Carly doesn’t win, watching other having fun is a highlight of her day. Watching others forget about any stress in their life and just focusing on the task at hand brings joy to her day.
6. Carly LOVES her family. With an exception of a couple friends, she has only family on her Facebook and her sole purpose of being on Facebook is to better communicate with family.
7. Carly has to this day accomplished almost everything she has wanted to do/be. However, she still dreams of one day singing the National Anthem at a professional event…..”it will happen.”
8. Carly is known to cry on occasion and some would call her “emotional.” She says that she is not really an “emotional person”, she just feels what someone is going through as if she were going through it herself. Carly recently saw her sister Kelsey shopping for her own wedding dress, and when Kelsey tried on “the one”, she cried tears of joy when Kelsey walked out of the dressing room. She was so happy to see her little sister so beautiful and looking like a princess, she couldn’t help but be happy for her and the tears just came.
9. Almost nothing scares Carly except for Zombies. Carly hates Zombies which probably explains why she loves the TV show The Walking Dead so much because it actually scares her. Usually other “scary movies” just make her laugh and say, “that’s so unrealistic.” (She knows zombies are unrealistic too, but they are still scary).
10. Carly loves to save her money. She has always wanted to start a Roth IRA but has never had enough money at one time to start one. She is always thinking of the budget and ways to invest or increase her savings account. You will see a lot of this at the wedding. Carly doesn’t like real flowers as she would say, “why waste the money they just die and silk ones you can keep forever. “ She has also crafted a lot of the items around the venue along with Ronn’s help. If there is a way to save or not “waste” money Carly will find it.
